African dance, food, storytelling and belonging. The joyful heart of The Hub.
This is the heart of The Hub: a warm, welcoming space where people of every age and background come together, celebrate culture, and feel they belong. From African dance to shared food, storytelling to youth clubs, it’s where identity and connection come alive in Warminster. Much of it flows from co-founder Lydia Moore’s belief that joy is a form of medicine.

See what’s on
Community food evenings, cookery sessions and shared tables celebrating African, Caribbean and world flavours. A shared meal is where community happens.
Arts, crafts and storytelling workshops that pass on culture and spark connection, from sea-glass art to youth sessions and mother-and-baby mornings.
English-conversation and integration sessions — including dedicated welcome and support for families settling into life in a new country — so everyone finds a place to belong.
The Hub is a place young people can call their own: youth clubs, mentoring and a community that shows up to celebrate their achievements. When one of us succeeds, the whole community shares it.
“Music and dance has given me a way to travel back in time, regain that feeling of experiencing cultures and traditions — and appreciate them more now as an adult.”Lydia Moore, co-founder
